Colombian government declares new area dedicated to the protection of medicinal flora.

Thursday, June 12, 2008: Colombia’s Ministry of the Environment, Housing, and Territorial Development announced the creation of a new nature preserve dedicated to the protection of medicinal plants: the “Orito – Ingi Ande Medicinal Flora Sanctuary.”
